Join The New Movement: Are You Share Market Aware?

It’s A Fact:

More than 43% of Australians own shares.  That means almost every second person who passes you in the street, sits next to you on the bus, or lets you merge in on the highway – is an owner of Australian Shares.

But why is it that so many Australians own shares, and yet almost no one knows when to buy and when to sell or what to do with them?

Thousands of Australians just like you and me suffered greatly at the hands of the global financial crisis, with some forced to push back their retirements by up to 20 years.  This is not good enough.

As a nation of investors and traders, we deserve better.

There Is A Better Way – Spread The Word And Become Share Market Aware

A little bit of learning in the stock market can go a long way.  You wouldn’t build a house without first seeing a builder or getting an architect to give you a plan, would you?  The stock market is no different.  We need a plan.

Whether we find a teacher and further our education or purchase a plan that’s already made and tested, we need a plan.  With our plan we can have more certainty in the stock market and perhaps not be left high and dry when another credit crisis strikes.

As Australians we need to get educated about Australian Shares and Stock Market Trends.  This way we can help keep our wealth, increase our general knowledge, and reduce our stress around investing – especially when a crash or crisis strikes.

  • Joining a Share Market Association like the Australian Investors Association, Australian Shareholders Association or Australian Technical Analysts Association.

    Joining the Australian Shareholders’ Association would be a good start for most retail shareholders.
    With a website, a monthly newsletter, many educational and discussion groups and the benefit of having experienced monitors to vote as your proxy if you can’t make the AGM.
    It has worked for me.
